Hi, Im Priya, the owner and teacher at yor yoga. I have been practising yoga for several years but in was in my late forties, I found myself turning from purely physical yoga practice to a gentler, more mindful yoga style. For me, yoga is a way of life and not just physical postures. It has changed the way I view myself, the world and my relationships. I am a fully qualified and insured yoga Teacher having completed the Foundation Course as well as the 500 hour BWY Teaching Diploma with the British Wheel of Yoga
I offer Hatha yoga classes, Yin yoga as well Restorative yoga. I am also trained to teach the ‘Yoga for Healthy Lower backs’ programme. Yoga is practice for the body and the mind and that anyone can do it irrespective of their age or flexibility. I believe in teaching mindful yoga- reconnecting the brain with the body and the breath.
My classes are usually small groups so I can provide more individualised support. I offer modifications and props within all sessions.
